Outdoor Carpentry
I generally work on small outdoor carpentry jobs on my own or with the help of other local skilled craftspeople as and when needed.
I also am happy to work with the customer during the design and the build of any project as many customers appreciate being able to contribute and also to bring costs down a bit by doing ‘homework’ on their own project.
Most of the projects I work on are bespoke and hence have an element of design and negotiation to them. If this part of the process is reasonably quick then I am happy to do this for free – however, if there is a significant design input required then I just charge an hourly rate for this service.
I can turn my hand to most small projects – here is a list of projects to date:
- Car ports
- Garden rooms
- Compost toilets
- Forest school shelter
- Caravan shelter
- Fire pit with benches
- Adventure playgrounds
- Climbing frame with sleeping platform
- Decking
- Summer house repairs
- Pirate ship
- Bird hides including reflection pool
- Boardwalks
- Public benches
- Hexagonal tree bench
If you can think it – I can build it!
